How do I book my trip?
If you’ve already received a quote from your Camino Planner and are happy with your itinerary, you can book your trip via our Client Area:
- Go to the Client Area
- Log in using the same email address used during communication with us.
- If you don’t have an account, click “No Account?” and register.
- If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password”.
- Find your quote and click on the “Details” button.
- Go to the “Payment” section in the left-hand menu.
- Select the deposit to pay (or more if you wish), check the boxes, and click “Pay”.
- Enter your Visa or Mastercard details.
Once your payment is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation in the payment section.
What are the payment terms?
Deposit: 30% of the total amount is required to confirm your booking.
If several people are paying separately, the booking will proceed once we have received 30% of the total.
Balance: The remaining 70% is due 30 days before departure.
Late Bookings: If your start date is within 60 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Can I make staggered payments?
Yes! After paying the deposit, you can log into the Client Area at any time and pay any amount, at your own pace, until your balance is due.
Can we split the payment in a group?
Absolutely. We allow group members to pay separately. Just invite your fellow travelers to the Client Area. They’ll be able to select their name or room and pay their share directly.
Is the final payment automatic?
No, we do not charge your card automatically for the final payment.
You will receive a reminder email two weeks before the due date. You can then pay:
- Online in the Client Area, or
- By calling us to provide a new card for payment.
What currency will I be charged in?
All prices are in Euros (€).
- If you choose to pay in Euros, your bank may apply a conversion fee.
- If you choose to pay in your local currency (USD - GBP - CAD - AUD - CHF - ZAR), our payment provider applies a 3.5% fee to cover exchange rate adjustments.
How much money should I bring? Do I need cash?
Yes, we recommend always carrying some cash.
Many cafés and bars on the Camino don’t accept cards or have a minimum spend.
ATMs are available in cities, but your bank may charge withdrawal fees.

Will there be city taxes?
Yes. A city tax applies in most towns in France, Italy, and some parts of Spain.
This tax is not included in your booking and must be paid directly at check-in, usually in cash or by card, depending on the hotel.

In order to make a booking and secure your accommodations, we need to collect 30% of the total amount of your holiday. If several people are paying, the booking will only be processed once we have reached 30% of the total amount.
Balance
Balance is due 30 days before departure
Staggered payment
Once you have paid your 30% deposit, you can then access your
client area at any time and add whatever amount you want whenever you want.

Group payments
We enable our customers to split payments of each passenger.
Just invite your travelling companions to there customer area and they will be able to select their name/room and pay their share.
Currency
All of our prices are based in Euro. We provide with exchange rate for guidance only and take no responsibility in exchange rate changes.
City tax
There's a city tax in most towns in France/Italy and some cities in Spain. The city tax is always collected by the hotelier directly in cash or card upon the client's check-in.
How do I book my trip?

- Fill your card details (Visa or Mastercard).
- Find the confirmation in the payment section.
When is my final payment due?
We charge a non-refundable 30% deposit at the time of booking.
Payment of the final balance is due 2 months before the departure date.
If your starting date is in less than 60 days after making your reservation, the full amount will be required at the time of booking.
Is the final payment automatically deducted?
The final payment will not automatically be deducted from your card. You will receive an automatic email 2 weeks before your payment is due. If you would like to pay with a different credit card, you can go into the Client Area and pay the remaining balance, or you can call us to give us the new credit card information to process the payment.

Can I pay my balance online in the Client Area?
You can indeed log into your Client Area and pay the balance there.
What currency am I charged in?
At checkout, you have two options. If you decide to pay in Euros (€), your bank may charge a commission for the transaction in line with their digital banking policies. If you decide to pay in another currency, our payment services provider will charge a small commission of 3.5% to cover the exchange rate.
How much money should I bring? Should I bring cash? Will places accept credit card use?
If you are travelling from a country with a different currency, we strongly recommend you change to Euros before you travel for your own peace of mind. There are ATMs at the airports and in the big cities you travel through, but your bank might charge you a commission when you withdraw in a different country or currency.
The small bars and cafes you will see along the Camino sometimes do not accept credit cards, or there’s a minimum amount to pay by credit card, so we will recommend you always carry cash with you. As an example: a lunch meal along the Camino usually costs between €10-€12, while a coffee is usually around €2.
