The luggage transfer is a complex logistics process where many pieces of luggage need to be collected in many accommodations and brought to various places afterwards. To ensure good delivery for all travellers, we ask travellers to have their luggage at 8h00 for the collection. Our transporter will pick-it up during the morning; depending on his schedule it could be 8am sharp or 11am. Luggage transfer logistics change all the time and we cannot plan collection and drop-off time with great precision. If the first pickup was delayed 30 minutes, the rest of the deliveries would be delayed by the same period. We recommend packing a spare set of clothing, including a t-shirt and underwear, in your daypack. In the event that your main luggage is delayed, having these essentials with you will allow you to freshen up and change into clean clothes until your belongings arrive. Your luggage may be picked up later of course but we ask you to have them ready by 8h00 in case you are the first collection point that day. Check our article for more information.
We recommend packing only 18 kg (for Spain, Portugal, and Italy) or 10 kg (for France) before your trip to allow some flexibility and avoid incurring overweight fees.
Please note: The maximum luggage size is 50 x 80 x 30 cm.
In case of exceeding that (weight or number of bags), a bag will be left in the luggage and a note informing that this service has an extra charge. A charge of €15/day will be made. If you do no contact us to make the extra payment, our provider will STOP transporting your luggage.
